Creative Director & Celebrant
Anabela is the creative force behind Elope in Portugal. A sociologist specialising in communication and an APC UK certified wedding celebrant, she brings together storytelling, local knowledge and project coordination.
She guides the creative direction of each celebration, working with couples and selected partners to shape the ceremony, choose the setting and bring the day together.
Manager & Lawyer
Sofia brings her legal background to the management of Elope in Portugal, overseeing contracts, organisation and the practical arrangements behind each celebration.
Her work provides the structure that supports the creative process and helps couples understand their commitments and next steps.
Elope in Portugal began with Anabela’s idea: intimate celebrations that bring personal stories together with the places that give Portugal its character.
We plan elopements and intimate weddings for just the two of you or with up to 30 guests. Your priorities guide the setting, the ceremony and how you spend your day.
We work with selected local partners, considering access, seasonality and the conditions of each location. Privacy, careful planning and respect for the places that welcome us guide our work. All couples are welcome.
